C-182. Pesawat ini merupakan jenis pesawat latih yang umum sekali
ditemukan hampir diseluruh dunia. Paling umum digunakan untuk sekolah
terbang maupun wisata udara di negara-negara maju. Bahkan ada yang punya
untuk pribadi loh!

Nah, TNI-AU beberapa tahun terakhir juga menggunakan pesawat serupa untuk mengenalkan terbang bagi para taruna AAU tingkat akhir, tidak hanya itu pesawat serupa juga sering digunakan untuk transportasi instruktur-instrukturnya dari Jogja ke Solo dan sebaliknya. Kok Ke Solo? Yap, karena di Solo juga salah satu pangkalan yang menjadi tempat siswa sekolah penerbangan TNI-AU ditempa.

C-182 sebagai pesawat yang diperuntukkan melatih dasar terbang ini merupakan pesawat yang mempunyai peforma tinggi sebagai pesawat latih, dan tentu saja merupakan pesawat latih yang terbukti kapabilitasnya, dengan jarak yang cukup jauh dapat ditempuhnya menjadikan pesawat ini efektif dan efisien untuk digunakan sebagai transport, latih, maupun wisata. Pesawat bermuatan 4 orang (termasuk pilot) ini memang cocok sebagai kendaraan keluarga yah, lumayan kalau mimin mudik Jakarta-Jogja gak kena macet! haha.

- Four-seat light aircraft with fixed landing gear, powered by a 227 hp (169 kW) SMA SR305-230 diesel engine, it burns 11 U.S. gallons (42 L; 9.2 imp gal) per hour of Jet-A fuel and cruises at 156 kn (289 km/h). The model was first flown in May 2013, and as of July 2015, FAA certification is on hold indefinitely.[10] Originally introduced as the Turbo Skylane NXT, Cessna changed the name to avoid confusion with the Remos NXT.[4][11][12]
