Merpati later returned Goose PK-RAM to the military. Paul Howard tracked it down in storage at Kalijati air base in 1995 with other museum aircraft. Civil markings had been removed and indonesian national insignia added.
Goose PK-RAM was leased from an Indonesian
military museum collection in 1976 by Merpati Nusantara Airlines for a contract with Total Oil in Sulawesi, the former Celebes. Here it is water

The registration PK-AKA was used twice, and both times on a Grumman G-21A Goose.
The first one was pre-war, used by Shell, and captured by the Japanese at Andir in 1942.
The second one (c/n 1107) was also used by Shell in Indonesia, purchased in the USA and arriving in 1946.
There were actually two Goose PK-AKA and PK-AKB (c/n 1115), operating in Kalimantan.
The two Goose are reported as having been transferred to AURI during the late 1950's,where they became PB-518 and PB-521 with Skadron 5.
An American report from 1961 mentions 2 Goose in use with AURI, but without indication of registration/serial.
If no switch in registrations, PK-AKB is the Goose preserved at Kalijati (PB-521).
PK-AKA reportedly was handed over to Merpati during the 1970's (photo anybody?)
Cheers!
